Help fuel our lab. Get a complete accessibility audit, free.
Accessibility Sentinel is an R&D lab building automated detection methods for digital compliance — not a standard audit firm. To refine our methods on real sites, we're opening a limited number of free, complete audits: 100% of the features, no watered-down version.
Why a free audit?
A research lab needs real cases to validate and refine its detection methods — not mockups or demo sites. Every free audit helps us test our protocols (NVDA bridge, vision-assisted triage, session-timeout tests...) across varied technical contexts, before we offer our services commercially.
What you get
The same audit we'd otherwise charge for: large-scale automated scanning, real evidence (screen reader, session timeout, vision triage), independent evaluation of the 56 WCAG 2.1/2.2 A/AA and 106 RGAA 4.1.2 criteria, deliverables — CSV, Excel, Word report, and interactive chat — in French and English.
What we get out of it
A real-world case to stress-test our methods, spot their limits, and improve them. At this stage, that's more valuable to us than immediate billing.
What we ask in return
No payment — two simple commitments, requested at application time:
Authorization for an anonymized case study
You agree that the audit results, once anonymized (no company name, brand, or identifiable URL), may be used as a case study for Accessibility Sentinel — similar to our already-published case study.
Feedback
You commit to telling us what was useful, what was missing, and what was confusing in the deliverables — honest feedback, even critical, that helps us fix our protocols.
Who can apply
Applying doesn't guarantee selection: the number of free audits is limited each month while our team reviews each application. We're primarily looking for:
- real transactional sites with meaningful traffic (not a mockup or a simple brochure site);
- a diversity of sectors and tech stacks, to stress-test our methods across varied contexts;
- a person or team available to discuss the results and give concrete feedback.
If your site is tied to a specific regulatory deadline (EAA, RGAA obligation, public procurement...), mention it in your application — it helps us prioritize.
What happens after the lab program?
The free-audit program accompanies the development phase of our methods. As our lab matures, Accessibility Sentinel intends to offer its services commercially. Organizations that took part in the lab program will be given priority notice of that shift.
Your site could help move the lab forward
Tell us about your site and context — we'll let you know if your application is selected for this cycle.
